MatchPoint supports SRL in Student Four Nations

As part of their long term partnership with Scotland Rugby League, MatchPoint are delighted to be supporting the SRL Students squad as they take part in the Student Four Nations 2019.

The Scotland students had a narrow defeat against Ireland in the opening game losing 26-28, but are determined to succeed against Wales and will finish the tournament with a match against England on Saturday 29 June at Peffermill in Edinburgh.

Keith Hogg, Chairman of Scotland Rugby League said, ‘MatchPoint are a highly valuable supporter of all levels of rugby league in Scotland.  Their support of the Students squad has directly benefited all participants.’

MatchPoint have sponsored the shirts which carry the MatchPoint tartan used across the kits since 2013 and the end of tournament celebrations, taking place at fellow sponsors, St Christophers Inn on Market Street, Edinburgh. 

Group Managing Director of MatchPoint Neil Cunningham said, ‘It is great for MatchPoint to be able to support the Scotland Students at this year’s tournament.  We wish the squad the best of luck for the remaining games and hope they have a fantastic time off the pitch when the hard work is done!’

Although Scotland didn’t see a win in their opening game, the tournament got off to a good start and the team are confident of a victory in the next clash against Wales.
