MatchPoint Helps Businesses Bowl Over Guests at Summer Cricket Internationals

INTERNATIONAL cricket comes to The Grange in Edinburgh this summer as Scotland take on England and Pakistan, and corporate-hospitality specialist MatchPoint is expecting strong demand as it offers a range of exclusive pitch-perfect packages.

On Sunday 10 June the Auld Enemy come calling at the 3,500-capacity Grange for a mouthwatering one-day international. England last played in Scotland in 2014, but their last visit to The Grange was back in 2010. Hot on the heels of that match, Scotland play two T20i matches against Pakistan on June 12 and 13. This will be the first time Scotland will have hosted a full ICC member for matches in this format.

The hospitality programme at The Grange is a fantastic entertaining platform for corporate Scotland which at the same time supports Cricket Scotland and the development of cricket.  The hotly anticipated matches offer businesses some unique marketing and networking opportunities as well as supporting grassroots sport.

“Cricket Scotland is proud and delighted to be able to attract some of the best teams in the world to play against us in Edinburgh this year.  The support from not only our fans but also from local and national businesses has been staggering and we look forward to rewarding their loyalty and dedication with more excellent performances on the field.”   Malcolm Cannon, CEO Cricket Scotland.
