Rugby League World Cup 2017 appoints MatchPoint as Official Hospitality Partner

The Rugby League World Cup 2017 (RLWC2017) has announced the establishment of "RLWC2017 Hospitality" for the tournament which will be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, plus three pool matches in Papua New Guinea, from 27 October to 2 December 2017.

MatchPoint, international corporate hospitality specialist with a rich history in major sporting events, has been appointed the tournament's Official Hospitality Partner for Rugby League's pinnacle international event.

 The tournament's hospitality program - RLWC2017 Hospitality - will be offered across the 13 host venues and at all 28 games.

 MatchPoint, who has offices in Europe and Australasia, is well-known through the world of Rugby League having provided corporate hospitality at events such as State of Origin, the NRL Grand Final and previous Rugby League World Cups.

RLWC2017 Hospitality goes on sale on Tuesday 25 October 2016.  An estimated 450,000 fans to attend the Rugby League World Cup 2017 which would be a tournament record. With 11 teams already confirmed, the final three teams will come from the European Qualifying Tournament currently being contested.
