The sell-out One Day International (ODI) between Scotland and England takes place on Friday (May 9) at Aberdeen’s Mannofield Ground, home to Aberdeenshire Cricket Club.

And MatchPoint will draw on its international event experience and specialist market knowledge to ensure it delivers at the much-anticipated sporting event.

The corporate hospitality sales business provides sales, marketing and management support to sporting and arts governing bodies, event rights holders, stadia and venues. Contracts past and present include Cricket Scotland, Scottish Rugby Union and British Grand Prix.

The corporate packages for the ODI sold out more than two months ago. The extent of demand for hospitality reflects both growing confidence in the economy and the important role corporate hospitality plays in business relationships. Reflecting different budget requirements and types of hospitality preferred by customers, MatchPoint developed a suite of three hospitality options from the formal Patrons Chalet, to the more informal Boundary Chalet, and the lower priced Boundary Tables.

Commenting on the sales success for corporate hospitality at the match, Neil Cunningham, Group Managing Director at MatchPoint, said: “We have acted on behalf of Cricket Scotland as corporate hospitality providers for a number of years. We are delighted with the response from our customers to the hospitality options, and look forward to an entertaining day of excellent cricket.”
